Whoops, you guys get a front seat to the madness.

So, this week is the 2024 Becoming Boss Bundle it's live this week,

September 9 through 12th (thru this Thursday), but I may or may not have made a mistake 🤭 and somehow accidentally activated/sent out last years bundle promo sequence lol so disregard those that say 2023 lol but of course any helpful info in there is still great!

I am definitely human! 😂 There is definitely no perfection involved when it comes to me, nor anybody else I suppose.

But, you know, mistakes happen.

I will say I do love teaching the kids that mistakes are happy accidents (🤣 right Bob Ross?)

So, I'm gonna use this as a teaching moment.

Here is a rundown of the main tip tidbits in this lovely email:

• Crap happens, don't let mistakes get you down, everyone makes them, and life is too short to be embarrassed by things everyone experiences at some point (multiple, usually lol) in their lives.
• Make one of your personal emails a subscriber to your list, so you can quickly catch mistakes and issues early - since you can quickly review stuff that is sent out in real-time (especially since I wouldn't have caught this mishap at all unless someone reached out later, I have the automation inactive but apparently the email sequence was somehow set to live lol)
• Use a link-cloaking thing that allows you to update a link even if it's already been published, sent and even if it's in multiple places all at once
• When you own up to a mistake or openly address it, people often appreciate that; it helps connect you and your people, makes you more relatable and real, not just some boring bot emailing or creating content for them, but shows you're down to earth and just like them!
• Your Authority and trust should not go down because mistakes happen.

Literally, it doesn't matter how old you are; mistakes always happen.

Back to my old emails whoopsie lol. I'm not really sure how it happened because I don't remember scheduling it or anything.

Tip: I have set up one of my personal emails as a subscriber, so I also get my own emails, perfect for when things like this happen, lol it makes these hiccups way easier to catch quickly.

So today, I saw the emails that came in about the bundle, and I'm like, uhh...that's from last year.

What's even worse is that it has last year's information. Whoops.

So the last few emails you've gotten that say 2023, the dates and links are not correct.

I had created this old sequence before I learned my lesson to use a link-cloaking thing (I use the free better links plug-in on my WordPress site), so even once I've sent out an email, I can update the link in all the emails, including the ones already sent!
